Hilrid Records was founded by Linus Cathcart and Miles Martinez with the mission to empower young artists in the North Kansas City area by providing them with the tools needed to get their music out. Hilrid Records is committed to putting artists and quality over profits, ensuring only the best results.

Artists

H.A.K.A.S. is a pop duo consisting of Teagan Cole and Miles Martinez. Since the beginning of their friendship, they have wanted to start a band and came together to release the single Constellations. Currently, they are still working on their debut album. You can stream their latest release here.

Jai-T (Jatin Jadaun) is a producer for Hilrid Records. His production journey began at a young age, where he experimented with making beats on his iPad. The summer before his freshman year of high school, he started producing on a computer and self-distributing his beats to SoundCloud. He shared his talent with his friend Miles Martinez, and the two started to collaborate on various projects. Currently Jai-T sells beats for Hilrid Records, and is working on his first album, a collaboration with Miles Martinez.

Miles Martinez's music career began in middle school, making wacky beats with his friend Jatin Jadaun. He later started self-distributing his tracks on SoundCloud under the name YungCockRoach. In his freshman year of high school, he met Linus Cathcart, who owned Hilrid LLC and told him he could put his music out there. This led to the birth of Hilrid Records, and Miles Martinez released his and the label's debut album The Next Chapter. However, after encountering legal issues and growing dissatisfied with the album after some time, The Next Chapter and YungCockRoach were both put to rest. Currently, Miles Martinez is working on several new projects, with his debut Shards expected to release sometime soon.
